15 Jun – It looks like fans of "Avatar" may have to wait another year to get to see what comes of the Sully family after the events of "The Way of Water". Disney recently announced several changes to its movie roster, revealing that the third "Avatar" movie will be pushed by a year, from December 2024 to December 2025. This also means that the fourth movie will now be released in 2029, while the last one in 2031, three years later than it was previously scheduled.
"Avatar" is not the only franchise that will be delayed, as it was revealed that "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" has been pushed to 1 May 2026, automatically pushing "Avengers: Secret Wars" to 7 May 2027. Nonetheless, not all is bad news, as it was revealed that Ryan Reynolds' "Deadpool 3" will now be open in theatres in May 2024 instead of November the same year. Other changes include "Captain America: Brave New World" delayed from 3 May 2024 to 26 July 2024, "Fantastic Four" delayed from 14 February to 2 May 2025, and "Thunderbolts" from 26 July to 20 December 2024.
