14 Nov – While Sivakarthikeyan is busy shooting his 22nd movie, his long-delayed movie, "Ayalaan" recently released a new poster for its upcoming release. On 11 November, KJR Studios posted a new poster on X to wish everybody a Happy Diwali, in which Sivarkathikeyan's character can be seen highlighted among the crowd, with the titular alien sitting on his shoulders and waving. "Our adorable and lovely #Ayalaan wishes you all a cosmical and grand Diwali," the post read. "May your night sky be filled with lights of diyas, fireworks and UFOs."
It is noted that "Ayalaan" has been in the post-production stage since the filming wrapped in early 2021. The film was originally scheduled for a release last year, but it was postponed to give more time for the FVFX work.
The movie now has Pongal 2024 release date. Aside from Sivakarthikeyan, the film also features Rakul, Isha Koppikar, Yogi Babu and Karunakaran. It also has music by AR Rahman and directed by R. Ravikumar.
