26 Apr – Now that New Mexico prosecutors have dropped involuntary manslaughter charges against him, Alec Baldwin is back to resume filming his previously delayed movie, "Rust".

On 24 April, the actor posted a photo of him on Instagram to share the news, writing, "We filmed SUPERCELL in Billings. Now outside of Bozeman to complete RUST. Montana is stunning."

"I'm grateful for all of the support I have received here," he added.

Filming is scheduled to be completed by the end of May, after it was halted more than a year following the tragic death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was killed after a revolver that Baldwin was holding discharged.

Said Melina Spadone, a lawyer for Rust Movie Productions, "The production will continue to utilize union crew members and will bar any use of working weapons and any form of ammunition. Live ammunition is - always was - prohibited on set."

It is noted that despite the charges being dropped, prosecutors stated that they could still refile it. The charges were previously pulled due to necessary further investigations and forensic analysis due to the emergence of new facts.
