13 Dec – It's the pink domination once again as "Barbie" received the most nominations at the upcoming Golden Globes Awards. The Greta Gerwig movie, which has Margot Robbie playing the titular Mattel character received nine nominations including Best Comedy or Musical Film, Best Actress for Margot Robbie, Best Actor for Ryan Gosling and Best Director for Greta Gerwig.
Meanwhile, three of its songs dominated the Best Original Song category, namely "Dance the Night" by Dua Lipa, "I'm Just Ken" by Ryan Gosling and "What Was I Made For?" by Billie Eilish.
Meanwhile, Barbie's cinematic rival "Oppenheimer" came close with eight nominations including Best Director for Christopher Nolan and Best Actor in a Drama for Cillian Murphy. The upcoming Golden Globe Awards will take place on 7 January and will be broadcast live on CBS.
