Film director files complaints against Ajith Kumar's "Valimai"

A filmmaker says that "Valimai" has too many similar scenes to his own film

13 Feb – Although Ajith Kumar and director H Vinoth have already moved on to their third movie, "Thunivu", it was reported that a filmmaker has now filed a complaint accusing their previous movie, "Valimai" of plagiarism.

Ajith Kumar and H Vinoth worked back-to-back on three movies

"Valimai", written and directed by Vinoth, was released in February 2022, and stars Ajith Kumar as a cop battling against a drug mafia gang. The movie co-stars Huma Qureshi, Karthikeya, Raj Ayyappan and many more.

Prior to "Valimai" and "Thunivu", Vinoth directed Ajith in the 2019 movie, "Nerkonda Paarvai".
