25 Jan - Kevin Feige doesn't believe the notion of superhero fatigue, as many has been expressing over the flood of superhero movies in recent years, saying that there are still a lot of stories from Marvel comics that they can adapt. In an interview on The Movie Business Podcast, the CEO of Marvel stated that he has been asked how much longer will the superhero movies last.
Feige stated that even if Marvel doesn't do more superhero movies, Marvel has a rich catalogue that dates back to 1939. "There's 80 years of the most interesting, emotional, groundbreaking stories that have been told in the Marvel comics, and it is our great privilege to be able to take what we have and adapt them. Another way to do that is adapting them into different genres, and what types of movies we want to make," he said.
