7 Aug –Horror auteur James Wan was revealed to have been hospitalised recently.

Wife Ingrid Bisu updated on his condition on Instagram Story, saying, "It has been an extremely rough and scary couple of days and nights. You never want to rush to the ER in the middle of the night and then have to stay in the hospital."

"Cedars Sinai [Medical Centre, Los Angeles] is truly the best!! The best doctors, nurses, technicians, just the most wonderful people. James is safe now and on the mend," she assured.

However, neither Wan nor Bisu explained the reason for his hospitalisation.

It is noted that the filmmaker had been busy working on the postproduction of "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom".
