17 Nov – It looks like "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" is now without a director. The movie, which is to be the first Avengers film since "Avengers: Endgame", previously hired Destin Daniel Cretton to helm the project, following his successful MCU movie, "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings".
The film, which is penned by Jeff Loveness of "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania", was supposed be released in May 2025, that is until the WGA and SAF-AFTRA strikes caused it to be delayed to a May 2026 slot.
It is said that the rescheduled release date of the movie is one of the reasons for Cretton's departure. Cretton, meanwhile, will be focusing on developing the sequel to Shang-Chi, as well as the TV series, "Wonder Man". On the other hand, there is still no news as to what Marvel will decide as to the situation concerning Jonathan Majors, who plays Kang the Conqueror, as he will who is stand trial on 29 November for assault, attempted assault, harassment and aggravated harassment after an alleged domestic dispute.
