11 Jan – Michelle Yeoh has been named Best Actress at the Golden Globes in the Musical or Comedy category. The actress, who has won multiple accolades for her performance in "Everything Everywhere All At Once", is now adding another trophy to her shelf, bringing her much closer to the Oscars. "It's been an amazing journey and incredible fight to be here today but I think it's been worth it," said the actress.
Prior to the Golden Globes, the actress won Best Actress at the National Board of Review Awards, becoming the first Asian actress to do so. On the other hand, her co-star Ke Huy Quan also brought home Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in the movie. Michelle's success at the Golden Globes means she is only the second Asian to win the award after Awkwafina, who won in 2019 for "The Farewell".
