RRR's SS Rajamouli is working on a movie about Indian Cinema

20 Sep – SS Rajamouli is set to embark on his new project, which will be about the birth and rise of Indian Cinema.

The filmmaker, who became much more famous now after "RRR" attracted global attention and won multiple international awards, revealed via his reps that he is currently gathering his team for the big budget project.

They also promised that it will be a magnum opus that will be presented "on a huge scale and canvas".

It is noted that Rajamouli already has two movies on the list of the highest grossing Indian movies of all time, with "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" at number 2 and "RRR" at number 3. With such hype for his upcoming project, the filmmaker could break another record with no problem.

Previously, the director revealed that he and his scriptwriter father are also working on the sequel to "RRR".

"I can't reveal many details about it but my father, who has been a screenwriter for all my films including RRR... We discussed a bit about it, and he is working on the story," he was quoted saying.
