1 Dec – Sebastian Stan is set to play the former President of the United States Donald Trump in the upcoming movie, "The Apprentice". The film, which is directed by Ali Abbasi and penned by Gabriel Sherman, is described as a "mentor-protégé narrative" that chronicles the start of an American dynasty.
"Filled with larger-than-life characters, it reveals the moral and human cost of a culture defined by winners and losers," the logline read.
Other actors in the project include Jeremy Strong and Bulgarian actress Maria Bakalova of "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm" fame. This will not be the first time that Stan portrays a real-life person. The actor previously earned an Emmy nomination playing drummer Tommy Lee in the Hulu miniseries, "Pam & Tommy" opposite Lily James.
