Sophie Turner's fans came to her defence over "party girl" allegations

Like, who doesn't like a good party?

7 Sep - Fans recently came to Sophie Turner's defence, amid tabloid reports alleging that the "Game of Thrones" star's separation was related to her "partying ways".

TMZ earlier reported that a source who supposedly has direct knowledge claimed that Jonas filed the petition due to their differences in lifestyle choices between him and Turner, that his wife loves to party whilst he prefers staying home.

Fans had since slammed the said report, saying that there have been many instances in the past where both parties admitted that Turner is the homebody and that Jonas is the social butterfly in the marriage.

In one interview with Conan O'Brien during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, the pregnant Turner said that she enjoyed the quarantine life seeing that she is an introvert.

"I'm a homebody. I'm just like, if I could stay home all day, I would, so this is great for me. I leave the house, like, once a day anyway, to walk my dogs, and then that's it," she expressed.

She then revealed that Jonas was the one who enjoyed being out all the time, and that she is grateful that the lockdown meant that she was able to make him stay home.

"It's like prison for him, but it's great for me," she added.

In another instance shared by netizens, Turner and Jonas did the couple TikTok challenge, with both of them pointing at her when the question "Who's the homebody in that relationship?" came on.

Others, meanwhile, expressed sympathy for Turner, saying that the actress, who started dating Jonas when she was 20, tied the knot and had two children at an age where others are still enjoying their single lives.

Meanwhile, Turner and Jonas took to social media on 6 September to release a joint-statement regarding their divorce.
