29 Feb – The upcoming Michael Jackson biopic has found new eight cast members to play the role of the four remaining members of the Jackson 5. On 27 February, Lionsgate announced the new cast members - eight of them to be exact, who will play the role of Michael's four brothers who made up the family band that became famous in the 1970s. Jayden Harville, Jaylen Lyndon Hunter, Judah Edwards, and Nathaniel Logan McIntyre will play Jermaine, Marlon, Tito, and Jackie during their childhood. Meanwhile, "Mindhunter" star Jamal R. Henderson, "My Enemy Alpha" actor Tre Horton, "The Michael Blackson Show" star Rhyan Hill and "Roman J. Israel, Esq" actor Joseph David Jones will play the older version of the four respective members. Earlier, it was announced that Jermaine's own son and Michael's nephew Jaafar Jackson will play the late superstar, with Juliano Krue Valdi to play him as a child.
Other casting includes Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson, Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, and Miles Teller as manager John Branca. No news as to who will play Michael's two other famous sisters Janet and La Toya, or the remaining two siblings, Randy and Rebbie.
