Alia Bhatt headlines YRF Spy Universe movie "Alpha"
12 Jul - Alia Bhatt has recently started filming her new movie, "Alpha".

The actress, who will play the role of a super-agent in the movie set in the YRF Spy Universe, was seen on set of the movie recently, appearing barefaced and accompanied by an assistant holding an umbrella with her name on it.


The movie will be the first female-led entry in the franchise, which has films like Salman Khan's "Ek Tha Tiger", Hrithik Roshan's "War" and Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan".

The name YRF Spy Universe itself denotes a universe centered on a series of spy action films, which feature various fictional RAW agents distributed by Yash Raj Films, hence YRF.

Aside from "Alpha", Yash Raj Films is also currently producing the sequel to "War", which co-stars NTR Jr.
