"The Batman Part II" delays release from 2025 to 2026

14 Mar – The second instalment of Matt Reeves' "The Batman" will now be released one year later than scheduled.

Warner Bros. recently made a change to its release calendar, and has rescheduled "The Batman Part II" from its original 3 October 2025 date to now 2 October 2026.

Meanwhile the slot will now be taken by "The Bride!", the Maggie Gyllenhaal-directed film starring Christian Bale.


"The Batman Part II" is not the only movie which release date has been delayed by Warner, with "Alto Nights" being moved from November 2024 to March 2025.

"The Batman" was the second best opening of the pandemic back in 2022, earning a global cumulative of USD 770.3 million. Starring Robert Pattinson in the lead, the movie also has Zoe Kravitz playing Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler and Colin Farrell as Penguin.
