21 Aug - It is confirmed. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are heading for splitsville after two years of marriage.

JLo was revealed to have filed for divorce on 20 August in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, two years after they held their wedding in Las Vegas in July 2022.

"She tried really hard to make things work, and is heartbroken," a source tells PEOPLE magazine. "The kids are a top priority, as they always have been."

The couple met while filming their 2003 movie, "Gigli". While the movie was disastrous at the box office, the couple went on to get engaged to be married. However, they broke up a year later.

Affleck went on to marry Jennifer Garner in 2005 and have three children together, but ended his marriage to the actress in 2018, while JLo tied the knot with singer Marc Anthony, which ended in 2014.

The couple rekindled their romance in 2021 following JLo's split from MLB star Alex Rodriguez.
