11 Oct - Chris Pine recently revealed that he has nothing to share with fans of "The Princess Diaries", having no information about the third instalment of the movie.

The actor, who plays Anne Hathaway's character Mia Thermopolis' love interest Lord Nicholas Devereaux in the second film, said that the first time he heard the news was when someone sent him a screenshot of an article about it.

"It's been 20 years. It's been a long time. Can't believe it's been that long. But I have more people probably come up to me about that than anything I've ever done. And I'm very happy. It was an incredible experience," he said, in an interview with Jimmy Fallon.

In a previous interview with "Today with Hoda & Jenna", Pine said that he doesn't know anything about the project.

"Call Disney. Call [Disney CEO] Bob Iger," he joked. "The answer is I have to see. I don't know anything about it. I think it's fantastic."

Hathaway previously confirmed news of the film, revealing that Malaysian director Adele Lim ("Crazy Rich Asians", "Joy Ride") will be helming the said film.

The two original movies were directed by Garry Marshall, who passed away in 2016.
