31 Jan – It's been a while since it was reported that Hollywood will be adapting the 2020 Thomas Vinterberg Oscar winner "Another Round", and now it was finally announced that the project will be helmed by Chris Rock. The comedian is set to direct the movie, which was acquired by Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way back in 2020, way before the movie won the Academy Awards' Best International Picture.
Rock is no stranger to directing, having helmed several movies including 2014's "Top Five" and 2004's "Head of State". He is also attached to direct a Martin Luther King biopic, which is produced by Steven Spielberg. The original Scandinavian film stars Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Bo Larsen, Magnus Millang and Lars Ranthe as four teachers who decided to embark on an experiment to maintain a constant level of intoxication throughout the workday.
