3 Sep - It was reported that Deepika Padukone is set to give birth at the end of this month.

The actress, who will be welcoming her first child with husband Ranveer Singh, was revealed to have a due date of the end of September and will likely give birth in Mumbai.

It is noted that earlier rumours said that the "Pathaan" actress might be delivering her baby in London.

A source claimed, "Deepika and Ranveer are eagerly waiting for the upcoming chapter of their lives and are busy setting up a space for their baby. If things go as per plans, she will deliver the baby on September 28 at a hospital in South Bombay. At present, the soon-to-be mother is enjoying every bit of the break that she has taken from work."

It was also said that Deepika plans to return to work in 2025, and will be using the remaining months of 2024 focusing on her baby.

"Her maternity leave will last till March of next year. And after that, she'll immediately get busy with filming the sequel of Kalki along with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas," said the source.

Deepika and Ranveer, who tied the knot in 2018, announced the pregnancy back in February.
