5 Mar – After a slow number in cinemas for the past few weeks, "Dune: Part Two" is finally revitalising the box office with a great opening number. The movie, which premiered on 29 February, has now made an estimated USD 81.5 million at the US box office, making it the biggest opening of the year for the time being. Meanwhile, the movie has made USD 97 million internationally from 71 countries, amassing a global total of USD 178.5 million. It is noted that the film was made with a USD 190 million budget, which means that the film is already considered a big success as it has many weeks to go in theatres.
The film has also been universally praised by critics and audiences alike, with many expressing their love for its great story, monumental effects and phenomenal acting from its cast members. "Dune: Part Two" sees the return of Timothee Chalamet as Paul Atreides and Zendaya as Chani among others.
