1 Mar – Ishana Shyamalan's debut film, "The Watchers" is set to be released on 7 June. The young Shyamalan, who announced her directorial debut last year after working behind the scenes with father M. Night Shyamalan for several years, helmed the movie that is based on the gothic horror novel of the same name by AH Shine. The movie stars Dakota Fanning as Mina, a 28-year-old artist who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night.
Other stars include Georgina Campbell, Oliver Finnegan and Olwen Fouéré. Meanwhile, the project is produced by M. Night Shyamalan, who also hired Ishana to direct several episodes of his Apple TV+ series, "Servant".
