8 May - James Gunn had DC fans excited recently by unveiling the first look of David Corenswet as the new man of steel.

On 6 May, the DC Studios co-head posted a photo of the actor clad in his Superman costume, looking down as he put on his red boots while the city behind him is being attacked.

"Get ready," he posted, reminding fans that the movie will be released in July 2025.

Despite the hype, there are still some who expressed cynicism over the image, including Henry Cavill fans who are still not over the British actor being replaced by his American lookalike.

The upcoming movie also cast Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Holt as Lex Luthor, as well as other actors like Nathan Fillion and Isabela Merced to play Metamorpho and Hawkgirl among others.
