23 Dec - Jared Leto is joining the list of casts for the upcoming live-action adaptation of Mattel's "Masters of the Universe".

The actor is set to play the role of Skeletor in the new movie from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films, the skull-faced archenemy of He-Man who seeks to discover the secrets of Castle Grayskull.

It is noted that Leto is no stranger to playing a skull-faced character, having played the Hatbox Ghost in "The Haunted Mansion".

Aside from Leto, the film will also see Sam C. Wilson, Hafthor Bjornsson and Kojo Attah playing the role of Trap Jaw, Goat Man and Tri-Klops, joining Alison Brie who will play Evil-Lyn.

The film stars Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, with Camila Mendes playing Teela and Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms.

It is to be directed by Travis Knight and will be released in theatres worldwide on 5 June 2026.
