14 Oct - Talk show host Piers Morgan found himself facing a legal threat from Jay-Z's team, after letting Jaguar Wright make allegations against the rap mogul and wife Beyonce on his show.

It is noted that Wright, a singer-songwriter known for her sensational claims about the entertainment industry, claimed on Morgan's YouTube show, "Uncensored" that the celebrity couple are engaged in potentially criminal behaviour in line with the allegations made against Sean "Diddy" Combs.

"For four years I've been screaming not just Diddy, but Diddy and Jay-Z are monsters," Wright stated during the segment.

She also claimed to have victims ready to testify against Jay-Z and Beyonce.

Said Jordan Siev, one of the lawyers of Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter), "Piers Morgan's irresponsible broadcast filled with lies is so far over the line that a legal ultimatum was warranted."

"Nobody acting under the guise of journalism can elicit outrageous statements from exploitative situations in an effort to drive clicks, and not have to answer for that," Siev added.

Morgan's show had since deleted that particular portion of the interview.
