20 Nov - Although it has been 13 years since the last "Sherlock Holmes" movie, Jude Law recently assured that the team is still interested to make movie number three.

The actor, who was asked about the project by The Playlist recently, stated that the plan has been evolving nearly ten years now and that they are determined to make it.

"There's a great will to make it. And a great will amongst us all to get it right to do it, to find the time, to find the right team," he said.

"The one great thing I took from both of those films is my friendship with Robert [Downey Jr.] and his wife Susan, they mean an awful lot to me. The hope is we're still going to do it. I think there's a new iteration of the script I haven't yet read. And then there's a case of 'How expensive is it? And can we get it made?'" he added.

The first movie, which was released in 2009, stars Robert Downey Jr. as the titular detective, with Law playing his best friend Dr. Watson. The sequel "A Game of Shadow" was released two years later.

The third film has been in development ever since though original director Guy Ritchie had since decided to withdraw from the project and replaced by Dexter Fletcher.
