16 Dec - It looks like Dakota Johnson can now breathe a sigh of relief as her movie's status as this year's biggest box office bomb has now been taken over by Aaron Taylor-Johnson's new film.

The new movie, "Kraven the Hunter", which opened on 13 December, made only USD 11 million in its three-day opening number, making it now the worst opening number for a Sony-produced Marvel comic book movie.

It also only managed to earn USD 15 million internationally from 60 markets, bringing a total global debut of USD 26 million.

It is noted that the film itself was not a cheap production, having cost USD 110 million to make due to previous delays caused by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike.

Prior to "Kraven", "Madame Web" made only USD 12.5 million in its three-day opening when it was released in February.

Meanwhile, Disney continues to make bank with "Moana 2", as the film surpassed the USD 700 million mark in its third weekend.
