4 Nov - Lana Condor is now happily married to actor and musician Anthony De La Torre.

The actress, most known for her role in Netflix's "To All the Boys I've Loved Before", held her wedding to De La Torre in a private ceremony held at Serra Franciscan Retreat Center in Malibu at the end of October, attended by close friends and family.

Sharing about their romance in Vogue Weddings, the Vietnamese-American actress said that they first met at an Emmys party in 2015.

"We were both there alone and saw each other from across the room, and that was that - we both knew that day would forever change the course of our lives. We just didn't know exactly how... but boy, did our lives change for the better!"

Condor said that they started dating a day after the first meeting and have been inseparable ever since. The two got engaged in December 2021 while in Mexico for a Christmas holiday.

"Anthony had planned this elaborate engagement on a cliffside with musicians and food and everything, but we had gotten sick so we were in the room," Lana revealed. "He was in a bad mood, and I didn't know why at the time, but it was because his plans had been foiled."

The elaborate proposal then turned into a private one, as he popped the question on the balcony of their room.

"He had lit a hundred little candles and had set out all of my favorite foods on the table. I was so shocked and surprised, and he bent down and said, 'This isn't how I was planning to do this. But it feels so fitting to our relationship that we always can adjust and be flexible when things don't go perfectly to plan'," she said.
