Mani Ratnam - Kamal Haasan collaborative film wraps up filming


"Thug Life" to go into post-production
26 Sep - The highly-anticipated movie, "Thug Life" has now wrapped up shooting.

As reported on India Today, the news was shared by Kamal Haasan's company, Raaj Kamal Film International via X, with a behind-the-scene video that was captioned, "Shooting completed. [Thug Life] enters the next phase."

It is noted that the movie marks the reunion of Kamal Haasan with filmmaker Mani Ratnam, 35 years since they worked together on the 1987 critical hit, "Nayakan".

The story of "Thug Life" itself is written by them, with Kamal starring alongside cast members like Trisha, Abhirami, Nasser, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Gautham Karthik, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vaiyapuri. AR Rahman is also involved in providing the music.

"Thug Life" is the actor's 234th movie as the lead, with filming began earlier this year.
