13 Feb – "The Conjuring" is set to have its final movie and Michael Chaves is returning to helm it.

Chaves, who helmed the last Conjuring movie, "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It" is reported to currently be in talks with the studio to helm the final film, which is penned by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and creator James Wan.

The movie, which is currently known as "The Conjuring: Last Rites", will once again see supernatural investigators Ed and Lorrain Warren facing challenges in the form of demonic possessions and ghostly hauntings.

The last movie made USD 206.4 million at the box office, though none can surpass the second movie, which made USD 321.8 million when it was released in 2016.

Prior to the "The Conjuring" universe, Chaves helmed the 2019 movie, "The Curse of La Llorona", followed by "The Nun II" in 2023.
