25 Mar - Prabhu Deva and AR Rahman are set to reunite for the first time in two decades on a new project.

The upcoming project will be directed by Manoj NS, who said that both parties have expressed elation over working together and with the idea of the film.

"We wanted to make a film that gives happiness to the audience. We developed a simple, feel-good comedy film with lots of songs and dances. We felt it could be a great experience, like Shankar's 'Kadalan' and Rajiv Menon's 'Minsara Kanavu," he said.

At the same time, Manoj said that he would like to celebrate AR Rahman and Prabhu Deva through the film.

Aside from Prabhu Dewa, the film will also star Aju Varghese, Ajun Ashokan and comedian Yogi Babu.

It is noted that both parties have worked together in the past for films like "Kadalan", "Love Birds", Mr. Romeo", and "Kadhal Desam".
