15 Oct - Now that he has recovered from his previous medical procedure, Rajinikanth is set to return to work on his new movie.

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj recently confirmed that the actor is doing well now and will resume shooting their collaborative project, "Coolie" on 16 October.

He assured that nothing has been delayed as Rajinikanth's procedure was already planned.

Meanwhile, Lokesh stated that the movie will not be a part of his Lokesh Kanagaraj's Cinematic Universe (LCU) and that it will be completed in six months.

The Tamil superstar previously underwent an endovascular repair at a private hospital in Chennai.

The surgery came ahead of the release of his new movie, "Vettaiyan".
