12 Jun - After announcing the third instalment of his "Knives Out" franchise, "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery", Rian Johnson revealed that they have now begun filming the project.

Sharing the good news on X, the filmmaker shared the first new photo of Daniel Craig as Detective Benoit Blanc, who is sporting much longer hair than in his previous two movies, but remain clad in his custom-made suit.

"Aaaaand we're off! Today is day 1 of shooting on the next Benoit Blanc mystery "Wake Up Dead Man" - see you on the other side," Johnson posted.

The last

The last "Knives Out" movie was released in 2022

It was last week that the movie announced its long list of star-studded cast that include Josh Brolin, Josh O'Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Andrew Scott, Kerry Washington, Glenn Close, and Mila Kunis.

The movie also marks Jeremy Renner's feature film return since his near-fatal snowplow accident that happened on 1 January 2023.
