29 Jul - Marvel Studios has finally confirmed it: The Russo Brothers will be helming their next two "Avengers" movies.

The news was announced at the San Diego Comic-Con, with the two directors, Joe and Anthony getting a standing ovation as they arrived at Hall H.

"When we directed 'Avengers: Endgame,' we really believed it was the end for us in the Marvel Cinematic Universe," said Joe Russo to the crowd. "That four-movie run was incredible, and it left us creatively spent."

However, the two stated that they found a "very special story" that convinced them to come back.

"It's the biggest story that Marvel comics ever told. It's the reason that Anthony and I are standing up here," said Joe, revealing that they were enticed by the idea of helming "Secret Wars".

Meanwhile, it was also revealed that the fourth Avengers movie, which was previously titled, "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty", has now been changed to "Avengers: Doomsday", as the original supervillain Kang being replaced with Dr. Doom.

Stephen McFeely, who co-wrote all four the Marvel movies previously helmed by the Russos, will be penning the scripts of both movies.
