27 Mar – Scarlett Johansson is revealed to be in talks with Universal to star in their new "Jurassic World" movie. The actress, who hasn't starred in a blockbuster franchise since playing Natasha Romanoff in the "Black Widow" movie in 2021, may mark her return to such if everything goes well.
The film, which will have Gareth Edwards directing from a script by the original "Jurassic Park" writer David Koepp, is tentatively scheduled for release in July 2025.
Reportedly, it will not be in the same vein of the previous "Jurassic World" universe starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. Meanwhile, Johansson will be seen next in the rom-com "Project Artemis" and will voice the character Elita One in the animated feature, "Transformers One".
