28 Oct - Following Tom Holland's confirmation, it was revealed that "Spider-Man 4" has now set its release date to 24 July 2026.

The news was announced by Sony Pictures after the Spider-Man star shared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" that he will be returning to the franchise in summer next year.

"Everything's good to go. We're nearly there. It's super exciting. Yeah, I can't wait," the actor enthused.

Holland was last seen in "Spider-Man: No Way Home", which made USD 1.9 billion at the box office in 2021. Aside from the three standalone movies, Spider-Man also appeared in "Captain America: Civil War" (2016), "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018) and "Avengers: Endgame" (2019).

It is noted that Sony still has the control when it comes to the film rights of the character, despite Spider-Man making its debut with Marvel Studios in 2017.
