22 Nov - While other nepo babies choose the acting route, Gauri and Shah Rukh Khan's eldest son Aryan will instead make his directorial debut.

The news was confirmed by the couple's production company, Red Chillies Entertainment alongside Netflix in a social media post that read, "This 2025: Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment come together for a one-of-a-kind Bollywood series produced by Gauri Khan, created and directed by Aryan Khan.


Many took to the comments to congratulate the young aspiring filmmaker, including director Rakesh Roshan, who wrote, "Aryan, all the best & looking forward..."

Sister Suhana, who also made her debut last year with "The Archies", posted, "Sooo excited."

Meanwhile, others were not as enthusiastic, with one netizen writing, "I wonder how many talented people get to make directorial debuts on Netflix. But hey, Go on Mr. Khan, prove me wrong."

"He has no experience. Just because he is Shah Rukh Khan's son, he rose quickly!" said another.

Prior to the announcement, it is noted that Aryan has been working as a scriptwriter with SRK's production company.
