17 Sep - Following reports that "The Greatest of All Time" is not going to be Vijay's last film before his full-time venture into politics, a teaser poster for his actual last film was finally revealed.

On 15 September, KVN Productions shared the poster, which is a painting of a hand holding a torch, and the logline reading, "The torch bearer of democracy... Arriving soon..."

The title, for the time being, is "Thalapathy69", which is Vijay's famous moniker. The temporary title also marks his 69th movie.

"We are beyond proud & excited to announce that our first Tamil film is #Thalapathy69, directed by the visionary #HVinoth, with music by the sensational Rockstar @anirudhofficial," the company posted. "Super happy to collaborate with the one and only #Thalapathy [Vijay]. The torch bearer of Democracy is arriving on Oct 2025."

The news came just as "GOAT" director Venkat Prabhu confirmed that his said movie is Vijay's penultimate film but not the last one.

He added that he made the movie, which also has a slew of artistes like Trisha, Prabhu Deva, Sivakarthikeyan and many more making an appearance, to celebrate Vijay, and to see him in an all-out entertaining film that has all the elements of song and dance, action and drama.
