29 Jan – Zendaya recently revealed that she would definitely return for "Dune 3" if Warner Bros. greenlights a third film. The actress, who spoke to Fandango during a cast interview to promote the upcoming "Dune: Part Two", stated that she "would be down" with a third movie if director Denis Villeneuve calls.
"I'm excited to see what happens. I started Messiah and I was like, 'Woah, I'm only shooting the first movie. Let me just go back to the first one.' It's so much to take in, and I think there's no better hands with better care and love for it than [Villeneuve]," she said.
She continued, "Whenever he is ready. I know he's a perfectionist in many ways and doesn't want to share things unless he's fully ready to do that. So [I'm] respecting that and waiting until he's ready." The upcoming part two of the sci-fi fantasy saga created by author Frank Herbert, is set to be released on 1 March, with Timothee Chalamet to return as Paul Atreides. The movie also added more characters played by Florence Pugh and Austin Butler among others. The first film, released in 2021, made USD 402 million at the box office.
