Aamir Khan confirms sequel to "Andaz Apna Apna"

30 Jun - Of all the rumoured sequels that has floated by, Aamir Khan recently confirmed that there will definitely be movie number two for his comedy, "Andaz Apna Apna".

The actor shared the good news in an interview with Pinkvilla, saying, "As we speak, Raj Santoshi is working on a draft of the script. So if all goes well and turns out well, then we might get to see a sequel."

It is previously reported that director Rajkumar Santoshi has begun writing another comedy called "Adaa Apni Apni".

"I am writing a comedy in Andaz Apna Apna's style. This is the kind of experiment that you have to do, you don't always know how it will turn out but I can assure that it will be entertaining," he said.

The 1994 film stars Aamir Khan and Salman Khan as Amar Manohar and Prem Bhopali, two gold diggers who started a deception in an attempt to woo an heiress to have access to her father's wealth, not realising that she too has exchanged her identity with her secretary.

The film also co-stars Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor.
