Arnold Vosloo to make Indian cinema debut?

28 Nov - It was revealed that Arnold Vosloo, best known for playing Imhotep in the hit 1999 film, "The Mummy" has joined the upcoming Vijay Deverakonda's period film.

A photo of the South African actor taken with actor Vinod Sagar, near some production trailers went viral on social media, with the person posting it revealing that Vosloo is involved in the 14th film starring Vijkay Deverakonda that will be helmed by Rahul Sankrityan.

It was reported that the actor will play a villainous British officer in the movie, which is set between 1854 to 1978 during the height of the British colonial rule.

The film also marks the reunion of Vijay with Rahul Sankrityan after 2018's "Taxiwaala".

This will not be the first time that the actor has worked with an international actor. Mike Tyson previously appeared in Vijay's 2022 movie, "Liger".
