10 Nov - If fans want to see Shah Rukh Khan as the lead star to his son Aryan Khan's movie, you may have to wait a little longer, as the younger Khan is planning to hone his craft a little better.

It was reported that Aryan, whose directorial debut, "The Ba***ds of Bollywood" did very well on Netflix, is currently developing a feature film that will begin production sometime next year.

However, dad SRK will not be a part of it.

"Aryan wants to deliver a theatrical success and prove himself as a filmmaker before taking on the challenge of directing his superstar father, Shah Rukh Khan," said an insider. "His idea is to earn that opportunity through merit and let his work speak for itself."

The insider also stated that if everything goes well, Aryan's third project may star SRK. The father-son duo reportedly has already agreed on the idea, but that their collaboration will only take shape only in 2027.

"For now, Aryan is focused on completing the script of his second feature, which will soon enter the casting stage," adds the source.
