"CoComelon" to have a feature film in 2027


"CoComelon" makes every day brighter
15 May - The hit preschool animated show "CoComelon" will be having its own feature film!

Universal Pictures is collaborating with the show's producer Moonbug Entertainment as well as Flywheel Media to produce the movie, which is tentatively scheduled for a 2027 release.

A worldwide hit, "CoComelon" has around 4 billion average monthly views on YouTube, and ranked among the top shows on Netflix. The songs from the show have also entered music streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

The show was first launched on YouTube on 2006, created by Jay Jeon and his wife through their company, Treasure Studio initially as a hobby that their kids can enjoy.

It had since spawned several spinoffs including "CoComelon Lane", "Cody Time", "Nina's Familia", and "JJ's Animal Time".
