30 Jun - Curtis Jackson is the latest to have been cast in the upcoming Legendary film, "Street Fighter"

The rapper, known by his moniker 50 Cent, will be joining the cast that include Andrew Koji as Ryu and Noah Centineo as Ken.

50 Cent will play Balrog, a disgraced boxer and antagonist who works for M. Bison's organisation, Shadaloo. The rapper reportedly has begun training for the film.

50 Cent also recently shared the good news on social media, writing, "No Days off, Let's work. All roads lead to Shreveport."

Earlier, we reported that Callina Liang will be playing the role of Chun-Li. Other cast members include Jason Momoa as Blanka, WWE superstar Roman Reign as Akuma and Orville Peck as Vega.

The film will be directed by Kitao Sakurai, with Capcom to co-produce the project.
