"Exhuma" leads 18th Asian Film Awards with most nominations

South Korean horror "Exhuma" dominates with 11 award nominations including Best Film, Director
13 Jan - South Korean horror-mystery "Exhuma" has bagged the most nominations for the upcoming 18th Asian Film Awards.

The film, which stars Kim Go-eun and Choi Min-sik in the lead as a shaman and a feng shui master in the movie about the excavation of an ominous grave, is nominated in major categories including Best Film, Best Director for Jang Jae-hyun, as well as Best Actor and Actress for the aforementioned leads.


It is also being nominated Best Newcomer for Lee Do-hyun, Best Screenplay, Best Costume Design, Best Production Design, Best Original Music, Best Visual Effects, and Best Sound.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong's "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In", helmed by Soi Cheang, has the second most nominations with nine including Best Film, Best Supporting Actor for Philip Ng, and Best Original Music.
