17 Apr - Florence Pugh recently admitted that she became "a sassy Karen" as she persuaded Marvel to let her jump off the second tallest building in the world in Malaysia for "Thunderbolts".

The actress, who returns as Yelena Belova in the movie, shared in an interview with Fandango that the scene was written in the script and that she was excited about performing her own stunt on top of the 2,227-foot Merdeka 118 tower in Kuala Lumpur.

"And then slowly as we got closer and closer to shooting, they were like, 'Yeah, we don't think it's going to happen, it's just going to be a crazy insurance ordeal, and obviously we're not going to throw FP off the second-tallest building in the world,'" she said.

Determined to do so, Pugh said that she reached out to Marvel's Kevin Feige, saying that her executing the stunt would be a great promotion for the film.

"I was like, 'What the fuck, of course we are. We have to do that!'" she said. "So, I was being a sassy Karen just emailing Kevin and being like, 'Kevin, this is going to do wonders for the press tour, we have to do this!'"

Pugh said that she is not one to fear heights, but admitted that carrying out the stunt was a different ball game.

Stating that she fell asleep for three hours after the jump, she added, "The mental control I had to do that day was like - that was its own superpower."

"Thunderbolts" will be released in theatres on 1 May.
