16 Oct - It was reported that British actor, James Norton is in talks to play The Beatles' manager in the upcoming series of biopics about the band.

The "Joy" actor will be portraying Brian Epstein in Sam Mendes' "The Beatles - A Four-Film Cinematic Event", the music entrepreneur who discovered and managed the Beatles from 1961 up until his death in 1967.

Norton will be joining the cast that includes Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Harris Dickinson as John Lennon.

This is not the first time that Norton has starred in a biopic. He previously played the role of Jamaican-British former record producer, Chris Blackwell in the Bob Marley autobiographical film, "Bob Marley: One Love".

Norton recently concluded filming the third season of "House of the Dragon", playing the role of Lord Ormund Hightower.
