21 Oct - If there is one thing that still haunts Jennifer Lopez to this day, it would be turning down a movie that turned out to be Oscar-worthy.

In a recent interview with radio personality Howard Stern, JLo revealed that she was actually offered a role in Adrian Lyne's 2002 movie, "Unfaithful" but decided not to take it.

Asked why she declined, JLo said that the script, penned by Alvin Sargent and William Broyles Jr. wasn't good. However, she said that Lyne made the movie great.

"It's funny. It haunts me. It haunts me a little bit. It's like the one that I turned down that it was just like, 'Why did you turn down working with Adrian Lyne? What were you thinking?' I didn't even know what the hell was going on in my mind at the time. Who knows what was going on with me at the time," she said.

The movie, based on Claude Chabrol's 1969 original film "La Femme Infidele", starred Richard Gere and Diane Lane as a couple whose marriage is jeopardised when the wife starts an affair with a stranger she encounters by chance.

The movie earned lead actress Diane Lane an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.
