3 Dec - Kamal Haasan recently addressed the notion of retirement during his recent appearance at the literature and art festival Manorama Hortus, saying that he did feel like doing so whenever he did bad films.

The actor, who was asked about people branding his recent films as a comeback vehicle, and if it is time for the older generation of actors to retire, humorously said, "It's important to have new people coming in... but it's your job to tell the old ones to retire."

The actor added that nobody has asked him whether he would like to retire, but he feels like doing so whenever he has a bad film.

"My friends would say, "Do not stop acting with this. Do a good film and quit. I am still pursuing one such film."

It is noted that Kamal's recent films like "Thug Life" and "Indian 2" have not been doing well. However, the actor is keeping on and is set to star in the third instalment of "Indian".

He also has a new movie that he will co-star with fellow top star Rajinikanth.
