23 May - Eva Longoria is set to direct the Kim Kardashian-starrer, "The Fifth Wheel" that is being backed by Netflix.

The movie, which will have Kim K playing the lead, is penned by Paula Pell and Janine Brito, with the socialite and influencer producing alongside Pell, together with Will Ferrell production banner, Gloria Sanchez.

Not much has been revealed about the project, though sources said that Kim will play the titular role.

Longoria is no stranger to directing. The "Desperate Housewives" star previously made her feature directorial debut through the movie, "Flamin' Hot", which premiered at the SXSW 2023. Prior to that, she has directed several episodes of various TV series including "Jane the Virgin" and "Black-ish".

Meanwhile, Kardashian has also played a role in various films and TV shows, including "Disaster Movie", "Deep in the Valley", "American Horror Story: Delicate", and voicing the character Delores in "Paw Patrol: The Movie".

She is also playing a main role in the upcoming series, "All's Fair".
