30 Jun - Taking her film career more seriously in recent years, it was reported that Kim Kardashian's latest project is to help get "Bratz" back on the big screen.

The reality show star will be producing a new live-action film based on the MGA Entertainment doll brand, as well as star in the film that will be written by Charlie Polinger ("The Plague") and Lucy McKendrick ("Fangs").

The last "Bratz" live-action movie was released in 2007, starring Nathalia Ramos, Skyler Shaye, Logan Browning, Janel Parrish and Jon Voight. However, the film only managed to make USD 26 million worldwide from the budget of USD 20 million.

Meanwhile, Kardashian recently made her appearance in the 12th season of "American Horror Story" and will be seen next in Ryan Murphy's series, "All's Fair".

She is also producing the Netflix comedy, "The 5th Wheel".

Bratz is an American fashion doll and media franchise created by former Mattel employee Carter Bryant in 2001 and became popular for its diverse characters and stylish outfits.
